As we near the end of an extremely unusual year, we wanted to take the opportunity to reflect on and review our own progress.

In early June we were able to launch our website and provide access to our films Routines Part 1, Martin McGrath, and What We Leave Behind. We created and developed our Twitter and Instagram accounts and massively increased our engagements with all of our social media platforms.

What We Leave Behind

Over the summer we were able to launch the second part of our Routines series, in which a variety of people talk about their daily routines on an average or typical day. We dedicated a significant amount of our time to creating exclusive content for our Patreon page, which we have continued to do throughout autumn and winter. If you subscribe today you can get access to featurettes on the Routines series, What We Leave Behind, and Compassionate Inverclyde, in addition to outtakes, deleted scenes, scripts, and an unseen episode of Martin McGrath.

We were delighted to release our Compassionate Inverclyde film in late September and are thrilled with the impact that has had. It has hopefully helped contribute to raise awareness and inspire others to appreciate the power of social movements and their ability to uplift and improve their communities.

It wouldn’t be a proper review without mentioning the effect Covid-19 has had on our capability to begin new projects. Production on a number of exciting projects has had to be delayed until 2021 – we look forward to detailing those for you in a post next week! Despite this, we have been able to produce a short film, Accessibility, on the impact of restaurant closures during Covid-19. A few weeks prior to this, we released the third part of our Routines series focusing on another diverse range of people.

We are in post-production on a film combining both fiction and non-fiction to introduce the honorary Italian Mayor of the Ayrshire-based village Fairlie. We hope to bring that to you early 2021 and hope that you have fun trying to figure out what is true and what isn’t! For the last month we have been waiting to begin production on our true crime mockumentary, A Mature Amateur. Unfortunately this has been delayed till January due to a mix of terrible weather and scheduling conflicts. We are greatly anticipating this and looking forward to seeing the great work our actors produce.

Lastly, we want to extend our biggest thanks to everyone who has supported us this year. You make what we do possible. We are fully reliant on donations to continue our work and we are desperate to bring new and exciting content to your screens in 2021 and beyond!
