Compassionate Inverclyde recently contacted us to invite us to film at their Back Home Box station at the Inverclyde Royal Hospital. They were keen to show how their work has continued and transformed during this lockdown period. Through their Back Home Box store, the Compassionate Inverclyde volunteers compile a box of essentials for people who are being discharged from hospital and live alone. This has been expanded during the last three months through the introduction of an isolation box for those who are self-isolating due to medical advice and cannot leave the house to get essential supplies.

We were thrilled to be able to dust off the camera and return to work. It was lovely to see familiar faces welcoming us in and to meet some friendly new ones who had signed up to help after recognising a great need during the pandemic.

We hope to be able to include this piece in our upcoming film about their work in order to highlight the importance of spreading care and kindness throughout the community.  It is our most sincere wish to see their heroic efforts have a lasting impact on our society.

We are really excited to share this film with all and are trying our best to make sure that happens sooner than later!
